Welcome to BiG Storage's community home page. Over the last 5 years we've done that much work for local charities and our local community we've had to develop our community section for our web site! At BiG Storage we're much, much more than a storage company - we're a local community focused business who recognises that the more we can help our local community, the more that community will support our business. It's a win-win situation for everyone.

It's almost impossible to list everything we've done to support our local community but this community section of the BiG Storage web site will go some way to listing our major achievements.

Our toy appeal - over 5 years we've donated and distributed literally tens of thousands of Christmas presents (mainly new toys) to children who most need them - whether they are in care, in hospital, in sheltered family accommodation or their families are on the bread line.

The Prince's Trust - Our founding partner, Andrew Donaldson set up his first business with a £2000 loan from The Prince's Trust. From that day onwards, 20 years ago Andrew has constantly worked to support the Prince's Trust. The trusts Patron, HRH Prince Charles, referred to Andrew in a speech as "a prime example of the virtuous circle he always hoped the Trust would create". The North West Leadership group, which has now been rolled out across the regions, was created by Andrew in 2008 and has raised in excess of £500,000 (half a million) for the North West during its first three years!

BiG Storage is involved in so many local sports partnerships it must be the fittest storage company in the country! From saving the Chester Jets professional basketball team to helping and supporting the reborn community football club of Chester FC. We have become a significant sponsor of the Warrington Wolves Rugby League team and enjoyed working with them so much we've even launched a joint venture basketball team with the Warrington Wolves Foundation. From your local junior football team to Macclesfield Town FC, we're here to help via sponsorship, benefits in kind and the sharing of our intellectual capital.

Mascot Madness is our latest community initiative with the Big Charity Mascot Race being held on Sunday 9th October 2011 at Chester Racecourse as part of the Chester Marathon which BiG Storage are also sponsoring. Our current mascots that we are supporting are;
