BiG Storage understands how important a role both security & safety play in the every day running of any organisation. Subsequently, the installation upkeep and improvement is a constant key factor in all of our facilities. The main priority of BiG Storage is to safeguard the security of your belongings and that is why our extensive range of security and safety measures are of the highest quality.
Our safety and security measures include:
24 hr digital CCTV
All stores are intensively protected by video CCTV surveillance both inside and outside the building. All images are automatically relayed to, recorded on and stored on electronic digital multiplexers.
Electronic Access Control
Each of our facilities benefit from the installation of a computer controlled swipe card/access fob entry/exit system. Gates, shutters, doors and barriers are all protected, with subsequent entry/exit requests only granted to permitted users.
Perimeter security fence
The perimeters of our buildings are just as secure as our interiors! With even more electronic entry/exit posts, ultra secure fencing and patrolling security guards, nothing is left to chance.
Alarm system
Each storage centre is protected with a sophisticated burglar alarm system. The utilisation of British Telecom’s redcare system allows our facilities to be connected directly to the local police station.
Fire alarms and smoke detectors
Our modern buildings are equipped with the latest fire and smoke regulation detection systems on every floor.
Well staffed storage centres
Each BiG Storage facility has at least 3 members of staff whoose job specification is to provide our customers with an enjoyable experience during their stay with us.
When recruiting, BiG Storage prefers to employ people with previous industry experience. This approach ensures that even our latest staff addition possesses a high degree of company industry and customer awareness.
Your own lock and key
Your storage room is protected by your own padlock and only you retain the key. Nobody can even see whats inside your room - never mind get in there!
