BiG SEARCH FOR 1000TH CUSTOMER IN LANCASTER AND MORECAMBE

07/02/2009

Local domestic & Business self-storage provider BiG Storage is closing in quickly on securing their 1000th customer!

Located opposite Asda on the edge of White Lund, BiG Storage (formerly Spacefinder) has grown rapidly since opening for business in September 2006.

Company director Kevin Murphy explains the secret behind their success “I suppose the key to our growth is down to the quality and flexibility of service we offer. Not only do we provide domestic furniture storage but we also offer a large range of business storage, workshop and trading solutions  - each offered on flexible terms at affordable prices.”

It is this assortment of customers that has allowed BiG Storage to continue to expand, even during these turbulent economic times, Kevin continues “Traditionally, our customer base was 75% domestic users and 25% business users. However, given the recent downturn in the housing market along with increased awareness of what we offer and an increased understanding of how our offerings can be of benefit to a company, this ratio is now closer to 50-50. We have all sorts of customers storing a vast variety of stock, equipment and machinery. From documents and records to ladders and tools – we store it all.

More recently, the number of companies using us as their main business location has also increased. Not only do we promote flexible room sizes on flexible durations (minimum stay is just 1 week), we also offer a fully inclusive handling/dispatch service, mailing address, operated fork lift truck and kitchen/communal area. The centre has very much become a hotbed of local enterprise with a whole community of businesses operating from within. This in turn has helped us enormously in our quest to achieve the fantastic milestone of 1000 customers.”

When the ‘1000th’ customer comes through the doors of BiG Storage, the lucky recipient will be presented with an overnight stay and dinner for 2 at the Midland Hotel, a pair of passes for Total Fitness Lancaster and of course free storage!

CAPPS – the local Children and Parenting Support Services ,will also benefit as BiG Storage will pledge to give Five pounds from every Move-in during the winners rent free period to the well known and deserving local charity.

So don’t delay – if you have a storage requirement, pick up the phone and call Mark or Phil on 01524 65272, call into store or visit the website www.bigstorage.info. and the 1000th customer could be you!!!!
